Trellix and Macquarie Government Partner to Strengthen Email and Network Security Across Australian Government
Trellix, the company delivering the future of AI-powered cybersecurity, today announced a multi-year agreement with Macquarie Government, a leading provider of secure cloud and cybersecurity services, to provide Trellix solutions to the Australian federal, state, and broader public sector. The partnership strengthens cybersecurity resilience across key Australian federal, state, and public sector agencies by simplifying the deployment of Trellix’s email and network technologies, underscoring Trellix’s leadership in meeting Australian security and data sovereignty regulatory requirements.
“Government is the most targeted sector among adversaries, requiring significant cybersecurity protections to ensure defences outpace bad actor capabilities,” said Neville Vincent, Senior Vice President, APJ. “Trellix already protects some of Australia’s most critical organisations across government and regulated industries, and we are committed to deepening our capabilities for these sectors. This partnership with Macquarie Government is an important step in simplifying procurement and deployment of critical cybersecurity technologies for the Australian government to protect its data and networks.”
“The Australian government has strict compliance standards for its agencies as well as mandates for sovereign cybersecurity capabilities. We’re eager to collaborate with vendors who demonstrate the same commitment to standards and regulatory compliance in the region as we do at Macquarie. We’re thrilled to partner with Trellix to continue to grow its footprint in the Australian public sector by enabling trusted, resilient, and scalable security outcomes,” said Aidan Tudehope, Managing Director, Macquarie Government.
