Clinical Architecture, the leading innovator in healthcare terminology management technology, announced today that SPH Analytics (SPHA) has selected Clinical Architecture’s solutions to extend the capabilities of its next-generation healthcare analytics platform.

Clinical Architecture’s Symedical® platform addresses healthcare interoperability challenges specifically related to the management of clinical and administrative terminologies. Symedical’s focus on semantic data normalization enhances the efficacy of clinical information gathered from various sources, positioning SPHA with quality data that can be utilized today and into the future as standards evolve and information sources increase. SPHA will also use SIFT, Clinical Architecture’s free text semantic intelligence tool. Powered by a robust terminology infrastructure, SIFT identifies and targets terms, revealing complete, accurate, and actionable information often hidden in free text and turns it in to the structured content needed for action analytics.
