MSC Software Corporation today announced that its next generation simulation platform, MSC Apex, was selected as the winner of the Silver Stevie Award by The International Business Awards, and winner of the Bronze Stevie Award by The American Business Awards in the New Product of the Year Software category.

The Stevie Awards are the world’s premier business awards. They were created in 2002to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide.In short order the Stevie has become one of the world’s most coveted prizes.

MSC Apex has now been awarded the NASA Tech Briefs 2014 Readers’ Choice Product of the Year Award, the Design News 2015 Golden Mousetrap Award, and Best of 2015 by Initiative Mittelstand, an award given once a year to companies who develop IT innovations with high-value for small and medium sized (SMB) companies. MSC Apex was also selected as a finalist for the R&D 100 Award, demonstrating MSC’s commitment to developing innovative engineering simulation software to help manufacturers advance their product designs with higher confidence and at less cost.
