SYMPHONY PERFORMANCE HEALTH TO PROVIDE POPULATION HEALTH AND REFERRAL MANAGEMENT ANALYTICS FOR MCLAREN PHYSICIAN PARTNERS
Symphony Performance Health (SPH), a leader in action analytics for healthcare networks, announced today that Flint, Michigan-based McLaren Physician Partners (MPP) has selected SPH and its new MDinsight 7.0 software for population health management, as well as the company’s referral management analytics. MPP is the Physician-Hospital Organization for McLaren Health Care, a $2.9 billion, clinically integrated health system in Michigan. MPP will benefit from Symphony Performance Health analytics that go beyond measurement and analysis to support organizational action planning for better health outcomes and network improvement. The advanced analytics will be installed in a 222-physician MPP pilot program in first quarter 2015 before being rolled out to the organization’s full 3000 physician membership. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“McLaren Health Care is a fully integrated health network committed to quality evidence-based patient care and cost efficiency. We have chosen Symphony Performance Health to provide analytics that will help physicians better manage their populations of patients both in terms of quality of care and efficiency of care delivery,” explained Gary Wentzloff, CEO of MPP.
Al Vega, CEO of SPH, further explained, “McLaren Physician Partners is dedicated to providing quality healthcare through its 3000 physician members, and Symphony Performance Health is the ideal partner to provide actionable insights into their population of patients.
