We're fanatics about quality performance. That's why we are not embarrassed to admit how proud we are of our ISO certification. ISO 9001:2008 certification is more than a fancy piece of paper to hang on the wall — it shows we've proven ourselves by continually improving a systematic, quantifiable approach to assuring quality performance.
STG must achieve standards that include organizational requirements in documentation, procedures and operations for our Quality Management System (QMS). This latest ISO certification — in combination with STG’s SEI CMMI Maturity Level 3 rating — assures our customers that we are committed to developing and providing products, services and support of the highest caliber. We continually focus on the ongoing improvement of benchmarks for quality customer service and support in the design, development and implementation of IT, technical security, engineering and scientific services, products and solutions.

A Hallmark of Continuous Process Improvement

It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it. So how exactly does a company achieve an SEI CMMI Maturity Level 3 rating? They establish well-defined, repeatable and effective organizational standards for project management; do the same for software engineering and quality assurance; and always keep the focus on continuous process improvement.

At STG, we have been committed to providing the highest quality products and services to our customers since Day 1. Our SEI CMMI Maturity Level 3 recertification is simply an official recognition of that. This CMMI credential — coupled with our ISO 9001:2008 QMS — makes STG one of the most sought after solutions providers in the world.

It's no easy task. To achieve this high distinction, STG must conform to standards in 22 process areas. All types of evidence come under scrutiny. The main focus of the investigation? Ensuring that standard processes are consistently followed and continually improved. Extensive interviews are conducted at multiple levels within the company, including senior leadership, sector managers, service center directors, program managers, quality assurance and configuration management personnel and project employees.

STG's Quality Management System (QMS) has been certified as meeting the latest ISO 9001:2008 standards.

The evaluation was conducted by SRI Quality System Registrar, an internationally accredited registrar for ISO 9001 standards.

Globally recognized and respected, the ISO 9001:2008 standards are set by the International Organization for Standardization, a Geneva-based worldwide federation of national standard bodies.
